Uriel Jones is an original member of the Funk Brothers, who were the band behind the hit records that came out of Motown in the 1960s. Originally expected to be a clone of drummer Benny Benjamin, Uriel proved that he could do that plus rock harder than any of the other Motown drummers! Uriel can be heard on recordings with many of the greatest Motown artists, including the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Tammi Terrell and Stevie Wonder.
