Rob Francis is a diverse drummer with thirty years of experience behind the kit, playing rock, blues, country funk and R&B. Rob is a studio drummer, teacher and a live performer and is based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Rob's drumming heroes include John Bonham, Dom Famularo, Frankie Banali, Joe Morello... to name a few. Rob has toured across Canada and parts of the US with several bands.

Rob's love of drumming came at the age of eight and he has been extremely passionate about drumming ever since, making it his current profession.

Rob can be heard on quite a number of CDs from artists such as Sarah Levy, Sunbox, and the newest up-and-coming artist Alexandra Matheson's self-titled album... just to name a few.

Rob currently plays for the group Hawco which provides him and his band mates with plenty of work. Rob looks forward to learning more about drums every single day and loves to get people moving out of their seats.
